Since we trust that you have worked on the first part of the elwa course 'Sustainable language teaching and learning' before starting this course, we won't explain our understanding of foreign language teaching and learning again. Neither will we introduce the different tools of teacher learning again, since we have already done so quite thoroughly in the previous part. However, we will give all participants the chance to introduce themselves and to get into touch with other colleagues. Moreoever we will include an overview of both parts of the course for all of you to remember what you have read and heard about in part 1.

It is interesting to see how many topics could be covered with using different films in this way. Beside the things we are aiming at in this course there are so many other things that can be addressed, depending on which movies are chosen. Technical backgrounds, concepts of various content like good and evil (also being not as plain as originally thought if it is for example hard to dislike someone who is really bad etc.).
Thank you for pointing out again that the pupils need to have a genuine need to exchange information. In this way, they stay motivated and engaged in the actives. Moreover, making the students aware how effortful and complex the process of making fill is ,is a great educational goal.
