Hello all,
I’m curious to be trying out this new online format. I have never taken an online class before. I grew up in North Germany and lived in the US for most of the last 12 years, until fairly recently, studying for a BS and MS degree and working there as well. I also went to Waldorf school and am excited to return as an English teacher this summer at a local school here in Hamburg. I have also been part of the evening teacher training course here in Hamburg since January 2020. I have some experience using YouTube clips (street interviews with people in a foreign country) and short films in a foreign language classroom to practice understanding native speakers and to expand the vocabulary.
I look forward to interacting with everyone over this platform and Zoom/Skype conversations the next few weeks. 🙂
