Course Overview
What is youth pedagogy today?
How can Waldorf education help youth who are the first fully digital generation to cope with the challenges of a fast-changing world? And what does this ask from their teachers?
In five online meetings we want to explore the possibilities we have in Steiner Waldorf upper schools.
We want to investigate together with colleagues from across Europe how we can engage the whole person with the world today through activities across the curriculum.
Our project UPSWE – Upper School, a Place for Self-Development – is creating a space for teachers and students to meet, discuss, get and share ideas and good practice. We aim to build a European / global network of teachers where participants can zoom out of their daily routines and find new, inspiring ideas for their work.
During our online meetings we are inviting class 11 and 12 students to share their experiences of Steiner Waldorf education, their worldviews and their thoughts on the needs of the curriculum for the future generation. This is an opportunity for pupils to get to know each other and learn from other contexts.
By enrolleing in this course you ensure that you will be imformed about the activities planned by UPSWE in the coming months.
