As I haven’t started teaching yet myself, I can only reflect on the experiences of other parents and colleagues who are currently teaching online or are researching online teaching methods.
Support and motivation are absolutely key in order to keep sus engaged in the online learning process. Especially challenges and exercises that keep sus occupied over a course of time need to be checked regularly and sus need to feel that there is value in their work.
With regard to the parents and the floods of different online platforms, I suppose it is up to the colleagues to share and discuss among themselves on how they can reduce the variety of sources. Maybe a briefing on the sources or platforms used by a class could be done in a parent’s evening?

We got along well with the parents during our online classes but, of course, we always had to improve our methods and change them in order to be interesting for the children.
