Media Education & Creativity

In our digital age, media literacy and media maturity are core competencies for young and old alike. This includes discovering analog and digital media as a means of creative expression and experiencing the empowering and resilience-building power of creativity as a counterbalance to passive media consumption.

The various courses on offer take a holistic approach to age-appropriate media education from different perspectives. We also use a variety of media forms and encourage creative activity in our courses in order to invite experience-based, transformative learning processes.

Age-appropriate media education and artistic teaching create spaces in which young people can develop creatively and find their own voices. This strengthens both the individual and a democratic society.
