This introductory section of the course is meant to give you a first impression of how the course works, who the people are and which tools we are planning to use. Moreover you will find a short introduction into the ideas of sustainable foreign language teaching and learning and into our thoughts about the topic Media usage and media literacy.
Maybe you could share some ‘general’ thoughts about your experience with this form of colleagial communication. It might encourage colleagues who haven’t started a community circle yet.

We have a very nice and diverse group, and are making very good progress with our regular circles. We usually discuss what we want to achive in advance or at the beginning of the session and then follow the plan we agreed on. We decided not to speak about each point of the weekly agenda but rather picked interesting topics. One time we followed the circle protocoll provided by this course (even with the 2 minute pauses in between :)), another time one of our members presented an epoch-planning related to topic of the week in detail and so on. Having a community circle is really a great experience, as you have so many different point of views on certain issues.
