I find the realisation that failure can be a possible outcome of a project a very crucial part to the whole idea. Of course tasks should be manageable, however, I strongly belief that learning how to cope with failure is a vital experience for young people. It also helps develop a better attitude towards failing. I am afraid that in Germany we tend to portray this as personal incompetency, instead of accepting it as a possible outcome that also includes a chance learn, to try again and to do better in the future. We should opt to form a new attitude which might resemble more the American one which is also linked to entrepreneurship.
