I like the idea of comparing the film to the book!
I shall do so for Bend it Like Beckham in my coming class 10. 🙂 It is a rather interesting incident, because the book was inspired by the film and not vice versa.
I really like how you kick off your blocks by using a phenomenological approach! On another note, combining books with movies was definitely what brought me initially to start watching English movies as a teenager. It helped me foster the courage even though it was very hard to understand (everything) in the beginning.
A look behind the scences and to go through all steps of making films is fanatstic to achieve an overall learning effect (as Steiner states “learning by practicing”).
